Two day "JK Talent Hunt 2012' | Inter-school dancing, fancy dress competition organized | | Early Times Report
Jammu, May 19: To explore the hidden talent and imagination skills, an interschool dancing and fancy dress competition on first day of 'JK Talent Hunt 2012' organized here at Police Auditorium, Gulshan Ground, Jammu. The two day 'JK Talent Hunt 2012' has been organized by Rathore Group of Publication (RGP) which started from today. On the inaugural occasion, MLA Jammu East Assembly Constituency Ashok Khajuria was the chief guest on the occasion while R C Sharma Executive Director IITT and BJP State Secretary Yudhvir Sethi were the guest of honours. The dancing and fancy dress competition was judged by renowned Dogri singer Nirdhay Singh Slathia, Suresh, choreographer Dhoom Dancing Institute, Padam Nath Kotwal, Choreographer, Ajay Raina etc. In this dancing and fancy dress competition, the students of different schools of Jammu included K C Public School, DPS Jammu, J S N Public School, Indira Public School, MIER, Jodhamal Public School, Bright Blossam Public School, KV School, JK Public School, May Fair Public School, MV International Public School, Environment Public School, Kids Heaven Public School etc were participated. In fancy dress competition, student who dressed up in National Symbol bagged first prize, Samundari Daku and Traffic Rule boys bagged second prize and girls with Jhansi Ki Rani costume bagged third prize. In dance competition, M V International School stood first in senior group dance category, K C Public School won in Junior Group dance category. Surat of Heritage Public School, Vidhi Kapoor of JK Public School and Arjun Bharti of K V School stood Ist, 2nd and 3rd in junior solo category respectively. The chief guest Ashok Khajuria and Guest of Honour R C Sharma gave away the prizes to the winners and runners up of the dance and fancy dress competition. Chairman RGP Satish Rathore said, "Jammu has a lot of talented, all they need now is a platform where they can exhibit their talent and we in our small initiative tried to provide the same". The parents, teachers and staff member of different schools were also present on the occasion. |
