| Fake encounter case : Two sit's constituted to monitor investigations on daily basis | | | Srinagar, January 29 Moving swiftly in the fake encounter case, the Jammu and Kashmir police on Monday constituted two separate Special Investigating Teams to monitor the progress of investigation in the case on daily basis. The state police, according to official sources, is also learnt to have requested the experts from the Chandigarh based Forensic science laboratory to visit Kashmir inorder to exhume the dead body of the Kashmir youth Abdul Rehman Paddar who went missing under mysterious circumstances. It is not confirmed whether the DNA test will be performed or not.A senior polcie official privy to the developments in the case told Kashmir Independent Press on monday that A DNA test is mandatory to ascertain the identity of the deceased youth but a final decision is yet to be taken in this regard, he said. According to official sources, UttamChand, SP South Srinagar and Anand Jain SP East have been entrusted teh responsibility of heading SIT's.Officials and police and prosecution wing will also assist the SIT team in their investigations. DIG Srinagar will supervise the SIT teams.
