| Public Darbar held at Gandoh | | | | DODA, May 19: A public Durbar-cum-awareness camp was organised yesterday by SDM Gandoh Bal Krishan at Jakyas Gandoh to listen to the grievances of the people living in this far flung and hilly area of the region besides creating awareness among the masses about various schemes of the Government. The grievances and demands raised by the Sarpanchs and the panchs included better education, adequate power and water supply, sufficient ration, non-availability of seeds and fertilizers, non-availability of fire wood, ICDS, social welfare Rural development and road connectivity issues and non-availability of patwaries and field staff in other departments. On the occasion, the officers of different departments made the public aware about the schemes and programmes of the Govt. The SDM impressed upon the officers to work with honesty and impartially so that the general public get benefited. He also asked the people to come forward and take full advantage of all the welfare schemes and programmes launched by the government. |
