| 22 persons penalized for smoking at public places | | | JAMMU, May 19: A team of Drugs & Food Control Organization (D&FCO) today realized Rs 1100 as fine from twenty-two persons found smoking in public places.
The violators were penalized during a special drive in Bus Stand, B.C. Road and Jewel Chowk, launched to enforce compliance to Section 4 of the Cigarette and other tobacco products (Prohibition of advertisement and regulation of trade and commerce, production, supply and Distribution) Act, 2003.
