| Under CAP, police distributes sports kits to SOS Channi inmates | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, May 19: District Police Jammu under its Civic Action Programme (CAP) distributed sports kits of cricket, badminton, v olley ball, football and track suits skipping ropes and other sports goods in addition to the notebooks and pens to brave children of SOS Channi Rama.
In a function organised in the premises of SOS Home at Channi Rama, the Jammu Police under its Civic Action Programmes (CAP) distributed the sports kits and writing material to the children in presence SP City South, Jammu and Dy. SP DAR, Jammu.
The aim of the CAP is to inculcate sports culture in the children so that they enjoy a good health. Earlier SSP Jammu Prabhat Singh in his address laid stressed upon healthy body and healthy mind concept. SSP Jammu also had a round of the Barracks, Mess and Hostel of the children, interacted with the children and the management staff. He appreciated the Management for their commendable work done and lauded the children for thei discipline and cleanliness in the premises. |
