| Two killed,one injured in Ramban road mishap | | |
Jammu, May 20 : Two persons were killed and another was injured in a tragic mishap on Jammu Srinagar highway at Ramban district today.
Around 80 sheep were also killed in the accident. Police said that the truck loaded with sheep, was on its way to Srinagar from Jammu, when its driver lost control, while taking a sharp curve on reaching near the town Ramban. "The vehicle fell near the Chenab River," police said, adding police team evacuate the bodies and shifted the injured to hospital. Police said that the body of Mohammed Shafi Dar (Driver) of Banihal was recovered while the body of his colleague Ghulam Mohiudin Mir of Tral in Kashmir was still untraced.. Police said that a labourer namely Nazir Ahmed of Qazigund was injured in the mishap.
