SAIL organises Architect, Structural Engineers’ meet | | | Early Times Report
JAMMU, May 20: One of India's largest steel producer, Steel Authority of India Ltd, (SAIL) organised an Architect & Structural Engineer's meet at Jammu. In an effort to better understand the requirement & demand of steel by Local consumers of Jammu Region, this meet was organised to interact with Architects who playa vital role in Design of any upcoming Structure especially in today's competitive environment where Earthquake Resistant buildings are of utmost importance. In an effective presentation during the meet, current SAIL TMT grades and Galvanised Plain / Corrugated Sheet products were demonstrated with their usage benefits and strengths. SAIL Rural Dealers of Jammu Region also attended the meet. Special invitee from Northern Region, S Bhattacharya DGM and Application Engineer who was the chief guest spoke about Globai steel towers and Structures of importance built by SAIL steel. He emphasised on usage of Rock bolt Technology explaining various uses and gains from Rock bolts. Moin Rafique, Warehouse Manager spoke about the receipt and despatches of steel in Jammu. Among others who attended the meet were Guizar Singh, Assistant Manager and S K Razdan. |
