Omar's divorce, Peerzada exam scam feature in IJT talent hunt test

Kishtwar, May 20: In a state level Talent Search Test conducted by Islami Jamiat-e-Taliba(IJT), student wing of Jamiat-e-Islami at 434 exam center across the state of Jammu and Kashmir including Kishtwar district where 430 students appeared in the test featured the question on the name of divorced wife of Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Omar Abdullah.Besides a question of Peerzada Sayeed's involvement in helping his foster son pass the matriculation examination was also asked.
The State level talent search test 2012 conducted by Islami Jamiat-e-Taliba was taken by more than 34000 students for two categories with one category question paper for students of 8th to 10th class while the other category test was for 11th to graduate level students of the state.
The two sets of question paper contained questions on various topics including General Knowledge, Current Affairs, General science, Mathematics, Computers, Logic and reasoning, sports, History of Kashmir, Islamic History and fundamentals of Islam. Each set of question paper had 95 questions with four options as answer.
If going through the questions of Category I (8th to 10th), the question placed as Q.No: 12 under current affairs topic is Which minister of Jammu and Kashmir was
involved in exam scam and seeks the answer of the question from the students among the four options among the name of the RDD Minister Ali Mohammad Sagar, Public Enterprises Minister Peerzada Mohammad Syeed, Finance minister Abdul Rahim Rather and none of the above as the options to chose the answer.
Similarly Q.No. 14 sought the name of Chief Minister Omar Abdullah's divorced wife having four options as Payal, Brinda, Sara and Malika. The popularity of the Omar question can be judged from the gossips of the students who without wasting any time tell the answer of the question when asked to them. The question paper of category I not only features the questions related to Chief Minister Omar Abdullah's divorced wife and Peerzada Mohammad Syeed exam scam, the question paper also features the questions like Q.No. 69 Who gave the slogan: Kashmir Chod Do Binama Amritsar Tod Do" with having four options for answer as Sheikh Mohammad Abdullah, G M Sadiq, Ramnath and Ram Chander Kahn, Q.No. 77 invites the answer of the question on banned film "Lion of Desert" seeking the name of the personality with whom the film is inspired having Imam Shimail, Umar-al-Mukhtar, Sheikh Usama and Tipu Sultan as options for answer.
Similarly question No. 80 demands an answer for the question "Hazrat Eisa (AS) was ------- by religion" with Jews, Christian, Muslim and Zoroastrian as options for answer. In another question placed as Q.No:83 under the category of Fundamentalism of Islam featured as who will be in the deepest part of Jahanum with four option for answer featuring the options of Jews and Christians other than Kuffar and Munafiqeen.
In category II (11th to graduation level) the questions pertaining to Arab uproar, ban on Hijab in France, controversial author Salman Rushde and Osama Bin Laden has been asked to the students appeared in the test. Q.No 11 in Category II seeks the answer for the question; who was named as "Person of the year" for 2011 by Times Magazine having slain Al-Qaida Chief Osama Bin Laden name as one among the four options. Q.No. 13 pertains to the name of Tunisian boy whose self immolation led to wave of agitation in the Arab world which led to downfall of many old regimes who rules the Arab world since centuries together. Another question placed as Q.No 76 is regarding the ban on Islamic Hijab by fresh government while in Q.No. 80 answer for the question regarding the name of first Muslim who answered Salman
Rushdie Controversial book Satanic Verses with the book.
Islami Jamiat-e-Taliba is the oldest organization of Muslim students of Jammu and Kashmir that came into existence some 35 years ago with the goal of carrying the struggle for spreading the religious education among the Muslim youths, especially
the students.
