| OBC Mahasabha castigates ruling parties for holding back their due | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, May 21 : O.B.C.Mahasabha has chalked out the future strategy to educate the O.B.C masses residing in J&K state about their 'vote power' keeping in view the forthcoming Parliament & Assembly elections-2014 and the coming local body elections.
The delegates in the meeting said that the O. B. C. Masses will teach a lesson to those political parties who have ruled over the state for more than 65 years as these political parties have totally crushed the reservation rights of O.B.C's in J&K state. After Independence the political parties have formed only Commission & Committees for O.B.C reservation in J&K state like Gagende gadkar commission in 1968, Wazir Committee in 1969, Justice Anand Committee , Justice K.K.Commission as per para No:-123B of Supreme court Judgement-1992 on Mandal Commission report,further a Permanent State Commission for Backward classes vide Para N:-123A of the Judgement-1992 & O.B.C.Development Board.
Further the commissions formed the state Govt. have created an artifical group of Backward classes under the garb of "Backward Area" only to give the undue benefits of 23% reservation to the kith & kins of these ruling parties at the cost of real O.B.C's who have been compelled by state rulers to live the life of 2nd class citizen in the state. The house made a request to the Vice-chairman of O.B.C's Development Board and its members to quit their posts in the interests of State O.B.C's as in three years the output of this board is ZERO.
