| PDP opens office in Rajouri | | Announces campaign to strengthen party | | Early Times Report
RAJOURI, May 21: Launching movement to strengthen party in border district Rajouri, Peoples' Democratic Party (PDP) has made its party office functional on Monday where first ever meeting of office bearers and senior party leaders was held under the Chairmanship of District President Abdul Qayoom Dar.MLA Darhal, Choudhary Zulfikar Ali also attended the meeting. In a press statement issued here, PDP has said that they have made its District Office operational near Baba Ghulam Shah Badshah University Chowk Rajouri where first meeting was also held to kick off organized campaign in order to strengthen the party in all corners of the Rajouri district. Speaking on the occasion, District President Abdul Qayoom Dar lambasted the state government for its alleged failure in mitigating the problems of the common masses. He said that people are ready to topple this government because they have turned fed up with the anti-people policies and they are coming closer to PDP due to the reason that the party had shown tremendous performance in 3 years of its rule.Dar said that although Rajouri has become strong hold of PDP due to the performance of former District President and MLA Choudhary Zulfikar Ali, however, he wants to launch a campaign to strengthen the party in every nook and corner. He said that party has good hold in Darhal and Rajouri assembly constituencies and they have also gaining ground in Nowshera and Kalakote but there is need to do an organized work to make sure that the party is strengthened in all areas. Meanwhile, MLA Darhal Choudhary Zulfikar Ali said that the state is confronting with a dangerous disease of corruption and the state will surely tops in the list of corrupt state this time as no work is being done without paying bribery in the government offices. |
