RAJOURI, May 21: An AEE in Koteranka section of PHE was today abused by an employee of the department for ordering the suspension of 13 employees who were found absent from duties last week.
As per the complaint lodged with police by the department, PHE's mechanical wing employee Abdul Qayoom today forced his entry into the office of AEE (Koteranka) Jehangir Bandey and misbehaved with him for suspending 13 employees for dereliction of duty. He also abused him in the presence of other employees of the department, police sources said.
He and his supporters later threw chairs and tables out of the AEE's office, the sources added. Taking a serious note of the matter, the department later lodged a written complaint against Qayoom with Rajouri police station.
When contacted, Bandey said none of the suspended employees was among those who misbehaved with him. The accused had also taken some official files with them, he added. |
