JKDF flays govt for shortage of ration | | | Early Times Report
JAMMU, May 21: Jammu Kashmir Democratic Front (JKDF) has flayed the mismanagement of Consumer Affairs and Public Distribution (CAPD) department especially like that of shortage of PDS ration in several ration depots of Jammu City. In a meeting held at JKDF headquarter, district president Arun Khanna expressed concern over the growing shortage of PDS Rice, Flour, Sugar at Government outlets in Jammu and its outskirts. Addressing a gathering of the activists here, Arun Khanna expressed surprise over the ration crisis just after the closure of civil Secretariat in this winter capital of the State. It is intriguing that on one hand there is cry of storing the food grains because of paucity of accommodations, on the other hand there is little wheat, Flour, rice and other items at the depots. Even the things become worse when ration is not being supplied as per the prescribed scale of rations. While speaking on the occasion Deepak Sharma a Sr. Leader of JKDF demands immediate supply of ration in Jammu City through Departmental vehicle so that public may not suffer. |
