| Heritage trekking troupe flagged off | | | UDHAMPUR, May 21: A heritage trekking troupe with the participants from various parts of the country was today flagged off by the Principal of Government Degree College, Dr. Nutan Kumar Resutra . In his address, Dr. Resutra welcomed and appreciated the zeal of participants hailing from various parts of the country. "Adventure adds charm to life. It is the spirit of doing new and challenging things in life that has carved many great people out of common human beings," he added. He hoped that the trekkers would enjoy the Heritage Trekking Route and carry the message of this peace loving region to their places.
The troupe comprises of 41 participants. The event is being sponsored by Youth Hostel Association of India. |
