Natrang stages 'Suno Tagore Di' at Samba, Kathua | | | Early Times Report
KATHUA, May 21: Two shows of Natang's Mega Dogri theatre production 'Suno Tagore Di' written and directed by Balwant Thakur staged here today at Samba and Kathua districts. The first show was staged in the auditorium of Bhargava College, Samba in which District Development Commissioner, Samba was the chief guest. The second show was staged at the auditorium of Chenab Textile Mills, Kathua in which Zahida Khan, District Development Commissioner, Kathua was the chief Guest and KC Sharma, Joint Director of Chenab Textile Mills, Kathua was the Guest of Honour. The show was attended by all the prominent citizens of Kathua town and was supported by Chenab Textile Mills. On the occasion Zahida Khan, District Development Commissioner, Kathua also honoured Director Natrang, Balwant Thkaur on behalf of Chenab Textile Mills for promoting art and culture of the state. Natrang is presenting a series of ten shows of the play 'Suno Tagore Di' to commemorate 150 years of Guru Rabindranath Tagore with the support of Ministry of Culture Government of India and Ministry of Tourism and Culture J&K Government in all the districts of Jammu province. |
