| Kupwara Kings, Lolab Lions win in KPL | | | early times report
srinagar, May 22 : Kupwara Kings and Lolab Lions won their respective matches to advance in the ongoing Kashmir Premier League (KPL) at different venues in district Kupwara, here. In the first match, Kupwara Kings trounced Trehgam Bulls. Earlier, batting first, Trehgam Bulls set a target of 135 runs in given 20 overs, which, in reply, Kupwara Kings chased in 18th over. Nazir Ahmad Gojri of was adjudged man of the match. In the second match of the day, played at play field of Pangzam, Lolab Lions registered an outright 10-wicket win over Matchil Mustangs.
Earlier, Mutchil won the toss and decided to bat first. The whole side bowled out for just 60 runs in the 17.4 overs. In reply, Lolab Lions attained the goal rather easily. Raja of Lolab Lions was declared man of the match for his match winning spell of four wickets. |
