| Parihar express shock over death of labourers at Dul-Hasti | | | Jammu | Jan 29
The vice President, INTUC Pardeep Singh Parihar has expressed grief and shock over the untimely death of three labourers, while working in a tunnel under the dul Hasti Project in Kistwar. In the incidentally, 30 labourers have also sustained serious injuries in when tunnel squeezed. Parihar has said that all these persons should be adequately compensated and stern action should be taken against the authorities for their negligence and also demanded Rs. Ten lac each for the family of the deceased and Rs. One lac to the injured. He has appealed to the Govt. that the injured persons should be hospitalized and be provided free treatment. He appealed the concerned authorities to take necessary measures so that the reoccurrence of such shocking incidents should be over once for all.
