| Chandi Maa Yatra to start from June 1 at Ballasu temple | | | Early Times Report
JAMMU, May 22 : Devi Chandi Maa Mool Sathan Mindhal Yatra will commence from Chandi Maa Temple Blassu Doda from June 1-6 this year informed Param Sewak of Chandi Maa Thakur Kulbir Singh in a press statement.
In a statement Thakur Kulbir Singh stated that Pyar Singh Ji Maa Chandi Sewak will take the holy mace from Chandi Maa Temple Ballasu Doda through Kishtwar which after passing through Sohal Padder will reach to Mindhal (Himachal). Mentioning that the yatra has a tradition of over 140 years and since then the mace (Chari) of Maa Chandi has been taken out from village Ballasu Doda from Panchi Dhar Mindhal Pangi (H P). Earlier the mace was being carried by Maa Sewak Ram Krishan Ji who has joined the lotus feet of Goddess Chandi.
The holy mace yatra is being organized by "Aadi Shakti Devi Chandike Sewak Sanstha" (ASDCSS) Blassu Doda (J&K).
Meanwhile President of Sanstha ASDCSS Prof. D S Manhas told that yatra arrangements are being finalized. |
