| SS&DF protest against 'power cuts and water shortage' | | | Early Times Report
JAMMU, May 22 : Shiv Sena (SS) and Dogra Front (DF) led by Ashok Gupta, President of Shiv Sena & Dogra Front today took out a procession from Parade Ground against frequent power cuts by the power department in Jammu City and against PHE department for irregular supply of water in Jammu City and Rural Area. Holding empty buckets & hands fans in their hands, the protestors raising slogan against J&K Government staged a protest demonstration at City Chowk where the rally culminated.
Addressing the gathering the President of Shiv Sena & Dogra Front, Ashok Gupta said that Government is not providing electricity and regular supply of water to the people of Jammu. "And the scenario after the move of the-Darbar has diverted the electricity of Jammu to Srinagar, he alleged.
Shiv Sena & Dogra Front warn the concerning department to change its approach towards the problems of common people otherwise Shiv Sena and Dogra Front will agitate the matter on roads to address the grievances. |
