| 2 make suicide bids by consuming poison | | |

Kishtwar, May 23: In different incidents, a girl and a boy today tried to end their lives by consuming poison at their respective residences.
They were identified as Ruksana Bano (16), daughter of Nisar Ahmed, and Anzar Iqbal (19), son of Mohammad Iqbal, both residents of Ghuriyan, Kishtwar.
Both of them were admitted to district hospital, Kishtwar.
Police said the duo were in love with each other and decided to take the extreme step following some differences between them.
Police had registered a case in this connection.
