Colour Belt Test held at MVIS (Samba) | MATSOGI - DO | | EARLY TIMES REPORT JAMMU, May 24: Under the aegis of MATSOGI-DO Association of Jammu & Kashmir 68 students from classes III to XII of MV International School participated in the colour Belt Test held at School, .The purpose of the test was to award yellow, green, blue, red and Broun belts to the martial art practitioners. This would eventually lead them to the acquisition of Black Belt in the course of time The students of MVIS have been engaged in practicing this martial art for five years. They have displayed their talent on various Fora with distinction. The school is going to participate in the zonal championship to be held in June 2012 at New Delhi. Earlier in the morning, a special Assembly was conducted to celebrate Bio-Diversity Day in which the students recited poems, participated in Quiz programme and spoke on topics related to the preservation of environment and bio diversity. Sunanda and Pushpa the teachers and also member of the ECO Club took keen interest in preparing the students on the occasion. Mrs Sunanda recited a touching poem creating awareness regarding diversity and need of its preservation. |
