| All India 8th Gufran Memorial T-20 Cricket Championship-2012 | | SCCJ trounce RCCR by 8 wickets | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
DODA, May 24: Sunjwan Cricket Club Jammu (SCCJ) trounce Raj Cricket Club Rajasthan (RCCR) by 8 wickets in the ongoing All India 8th Gufran Memorial T-20 Cricket Championship 2012 being played at Sports Stadium Doda. The tournament is organized by Young Star Cricket Club Doda and sponsored by J&K Bank. Earlier toss was won by SCCJ and they opted to bowl first. While batting, RCCR scored a low total of 83 runs for the loss of all wickets in their stipulated 17.2 overs. Nasir Khan and Rohit Sharma scored 27 and 18 runs whereas from SCCJ Saleem (Sonu) and Zulfqar took 4 and 3 wickets. In reply, SCCJ chased down the target by losing their 2 wickets. Suresh Kumar was the top scorer who scored 27 runs while Farman Ali contributed 18 runs for the team. From RCCR, Ajay Singh and Rohit Sharma shared 1 wicket each. Later on Saleem (Sonu) of Sunjwan Cricket Club Jammu (SCCJ) was awarded as Man of the Match for his best bowling performance who was given cash and trophy by Chief Guest Incharge Princial Govt Degree College Doda Prof Zaheer Abass Hashmi. The match was officiated by Amit Bansal and Dharmesh Bhardwaj as Umpires while Dherendra Singh acted as Scorer.
