AMCCC exhorts community to show unity | | | Early Times Report JAMMU, May 24: All Migrant Camps Co-ordination Committee (AMCCC) Jammu was held here today under the chairmanship of Ajay Bharti (Chairman) & T K Sharma (G Secretary) of the Committee and highlighted the problems of the exiled community. Speaking in the meeting the leaders have made an appeal to the whole displaced community (Migrants) in general and inmates of Migrant Mini Township Jagti Nagrota in particular. The leaders exhorted the community to remain united particularly as the inmates of Jagti Migrant Mini Township Jagti Nagrota should the unity during protest rally against the prolonged power curtailments in Jagti township. Meanwhile members have appealed the Government to ensure all facilities to the pilgrims and devotees during their visit to Mata Kheer Bhawani temple Tulmula (Gandherbal) Tikkar in Kupwara District, Logripora in Tehsil Pahalgam and Khanbaran (Devsar)., Man zgam (Kulgam) on the eve of Jeshta Ashtami on May 29. They have further urged for proper transport facilities for the pilgrims and devotees to these places of faith with proper security arrangements to avert any mishappening during the Yatra. The leaders have expressed their grave concern over the prolonged power curtailments of 18 hours in Jagti Mini Township thereby adding to the suffering of the old aged, infirms, and children. Community leaders also expressed concerns over failure of the State as well as Central, Government in enhancing the cash assistance relief to the Migrants. Among those present in the meeting included G.L. Bhat, Hirday Nath, Omkar Nath, Kumar Ji, Kuldeep Ji, Sanjay Ji and others.
