| RJML society to organize Sham-e-Rasa | | | Early Times Report
JAMMU, May 24 : Rasa Javedani Memorial Literary (RJML) society in collaboration with P.G. department of Urdu, University of Jammu is organizing a Sham-e-Rasa on 27th of May 2012 on death anniversary of legendary Urdu and Kashmiri poet Rasa Javedani. On this occasion the "Kulyat-e-Rasa" Javedani (collection of Urdu and Kashmiri poetry) based on Urdu and Kashmiri poetry of Rasa Javedani will be released by minister for agriculture, Ghulam Hassan Mir while Prof. I. A Hemal Vice Chancellor Baba Ghulam Shah Badshah University Rajouri will be the Guest of Honour. The Chairman Kashmir Times group of Publication will preside over the Sham-e-Rasa. On this occasion all India Urdu Mushira would be also organized in memory of Rasa Javedani in which prominent poets from within and outside the state will pay poetic tributes to Rasa Javedani. It is pertinent to mention here that "Kulyat-e-Rasa" has been published by Rasa Javedani Memorial literary society. It had been edited by Tanveer-Ibn-e-Rasa the son of the poet. It contains 333 pages in which some unpublished poetry of Rasa Javedani has also been included. A large number of poets, writer, students and scholars are expected to participate in the Sham-e-Rasa Programme.
