| Academy hold Poetry programme; Evokes 'Padma Sachdev' | | | Early Times Report
JAMMU, May 26: Academy of Art, Cultural and Language today organized a musical programme based on the poetry of Padma Sachdev in K.S. Sahgal Hall, Jammu.
Padma Sachdev and T.R. Sharma were the chief guests while B.S. Bali was the guest of honour at the function which was presided over by Nilamber Dev Sharma.
Speaking on the occasion additional secretary cultural academy Jammu, Savita Bakshi said that it is a special type of programme based on the poetry of Padma Sachdev and announced to arrange such type of programme in near future also besides highlighted the various activities to be under taken in the coming day by the academy.
Also on the occasion Nilambr Dev Sharma and Padma Sachdev expressed their thoughts and appreciated the efforts of the academy for showing deep interest in organizing such exclusive progr amme based on the poetry of eminent writers.
The songs sung during the programme were composed by Brij Mohan, Ravi Bhan.
