Police recruitment; NC's vote politics, harassment to Jammu youth: PDP | | | Early Times Report Jammu, May 26: A protest demonstration was held against the Jammu and Kashmir police (JKP) administration for their non serious and irresponsible approach towards unemployed youth of Jammu district during open police recruitment rallies. "Such rallies are being conducted to strengthen the vote for NC leaders," alleged by PDP activists, referring a similar rally held at Dansal block few days ago. Led by PDP activists including Vikram Singh, Girish Sharma, Sachin Sharma, Sonu Saini and others at Gulshan Ground, the PDP youth leaders blamed police Department and State Government for harassing unemployed youth of Jammu district. PDP leader Vikram Singh, district vice president Jammu urban said that for last four days hundreds of Jammu district unemployed youth had been pouring to Gulshan Ground for Open Recruitment of JKP but there was no officer available to aware these youths. He added after facing harassment at the hands of police these youth approached PDP leaders to sought out their problem. Vikram further said that it is the responsibility of Police administration to give proper Notice in newspaper or in TV about Open Recruitment Drives, so that the unemployed Youth of Jammu could escape from further harassment, mental trauma and wasting time. Other participating in the protest included Gokul Sharma, Bobby Sardar, Ajay, Pardeep Singh, Rajeshwar Jamwal, Anoop Singh, Gokul Sharma, Sourabh Mehra and others. |
