| Implement 73rd amendment without any further delay: AJKPCC | | | Early Times Report
JAMMU, May 26: In order to implement 3 tier system in the state, panches and sarpanches of Jammu province under the banner of All J&K Panchayat Co-ordination Committee (AJKPCC) today organized a protest rally from Press Club Jammu towards the Office of Divisional Commissioner Jammu,.
On the occasion they have submitted their memorandum before the Divisional commissioner Jammu for the implementation of their demands as required under the Panchayati Raj which included 3 tier system within 90 days from the election of Naib Sarpanch, 73rd amendment of panchayati raj act as per the Indian constitution without any further delay, election of Block Development Councils (BDC) and District Development Planning(BDC) out of panches and sarpanches, similar protocol to them as provided to MLA and MLC, salaries as being paid to MLA's, constitution of panchayati Adalat at the earliest, panchayat development fund to sarpanches and panches parallel to MLA and MLC's.
