| Hindustan Shiv Sena calls for bandh on May 31 | | | Early Times Report
Jammu , May 26 : Hindustan Shiv Sena strongly opposed the steep hike in petrol prices. In a protest President Dimpy Kohli and Gen. Secretary GI Singh. stated this hike will affect the common man especially middle class section. It is total failure of UPA Govt. This steep hike in petrol will shatter the budget of common man. Instead of increasing the prices , the Govt. should have reduced the excise duty on petroleum products. We appeal to the state Chief Minister to abolish or substantially reduce the VAT on Diesel & Petrol which is already very high as much as 20% many other states have reduced VAT on Petroleum products to give relief to the public. Hindustan shiv Sena appealed to the public to come out on the streets and protest against this ungenuine and unjustified hike. Hindustan Shiv Sena will continue protests till Govt. roll back this hike. Hindustan Shiv sena also gives Bharat bandh call on 31st May, 2012. We also appeal
to UPA govt. to start a special package for petroleum prices as J&K is a millitacy affected area.
