| Minor injured in grenade blast | | |
EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, May 27: A minor boy received injuries in a grenade blast in Akhnoor today.
The incident took place in village Parda when a 6 years old boy identified as Rohit Kumar son of Ram Pal, mistook the grenade as ball and started playing with it in a jungle. As soon as the boy started to fiddle with the grenade, the explosive went off resulting into multiple injuries to him.
The grenade was kept by some hunters to hunt the pig, police sources said. The injured was rushed to the Government Medical College and Hospital (GMC&H) for advanced treatment. .
A case in this connection has been registered by police and further investigation was in progress. |
