| NPSU rejects interlocutors' report; holds protest | | |

JAMMU, May 27: NPSU held a massive protest demonstration against report submitted by interlocutors at main chowk Akhnoor.
The protesters led by Avinash Sharma and Vicky Bhau shouted slogans against the interlocutors.
NPSU district chairman said report submitted by interlocutors is totally in support of separatists and it has nothing that could solve Kashmir issue. He said in their report they have said that Kashmir issue can be solved only by discussion with people of Kashmir, India and Pakistan. He said if Kashmir is integral part of India then what is the role of Pakistan in this.
On the occasion, Atul Sudan (Provincial Secretary, NPSU) said that Government of India has spent lavishly on interlocutors and all has gone in vain.
He said it requires deep study to solve vexed Kashmir issue and it should only be discussed with people of India not anti-nationalists.
The others who were present on occasion were Vishal Bhardwaj, Juraber Singh, Gulchain Singh, Rohit Khajuria, Ranjeet Singh, Manav Bhaskar and Chetan Sharma. |
