| Adbi Kunj remembers noted poet 'Rasa Javedani' | | | Early Times Report
JAMMU, May 28: Adbi Kunj J&K organized a function to pay tributes to veteran Kashmiri and Urdu legendary poet, Rasa-Javedani on his 33rd death anniversary.
"Ek- Sham - Rasa- Javedani-Ke-Naam, a literary meet was organized as tribute paying programme which was presided over by a prominent Urdu-Hindi, Persian and Sanskrit, poet and writer from Benipur (Banaras UP).
Well known Kashmiri and Hindi, Singer poetess, Smt Santosh Shah Nadan, was the Chief Guest of the meet on the occasion. At the onset of occasion Sham Talib, President of the organization, paying tributes to late poet said that "Rasa-Javedani was not only a noted poet of Urdu and Kashmiri languages but also was known for his humbleness. "The late poet webbed the realities of life in his words and also spread message of brotherhood and communal harmony through poetry.
Other speakers Smt Santosh Nadan, Dr M L Ganjoo and Muni Lal Puri also paid tributes to late soul and expressed their views on the works of late Rasa-Javedani.
Sham Talib, M L Puri, Taiyab Bharti and K L Dewana read literary papers during the occasion.
Meantime Smt Santosh Nadan, Tayab Bhart i, M S Wafa, Com Jaswant Singh, K L Dewana, Sanjeev Kumar, Ved Upal, Surinder Gupta, Rajiv Kumari, Romesh Rahi, M L Ganjoo, Rakesh Sarkar and Gardhari Lal Rahi also paid their tributes to late soul. |
