| Inter-school competitions of Jammu district Tarun, Sadam, Tina, Shiduti excel in yoga | | | Early Times Report
JAMMU, May 28: Tarun Kumar of Luthra Academy and Tina Saini of SNS Vidya Mandir bagged gold in under-14 boys and girls categories respectively in the inter-school competitions of Jammu district held at Gymnasium Hall of University of Jammu under the banner of Department of Youth Services and Sports (DYSS), here.
Similarly, Sadam Hussain of DBN and Shiduti Jamwal, again of DBN clinched gold in under-17 categories. The chess gold in girls' under-17 and under-14 age groups went to Akriti Kotwal and Arushi Kotwal respectively. Both of them are students of Carmel Convent School. In under-14 girls fencing, Saijal Gupta of KV-1 bagged foil gold while Anchal Dogra of DPS excelled in same event of under-17.
In the finals, District Youth Services and Sports Officer, Jammu, Tirath Ram was chief guest.
