Interlocutors' report disappointing, futile exercise: HSS | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT JAMMU, May 28: Expressing its dismay over the report submitted by the interlocutors, the Hindustan Shiv Sena (HSS) today termed it as disappointing and a futile exercise. Addressing a press conference here today, president HSS Dimpy Kohli and general secretary G I Singh said that the report is a mixture of political, economic and social issues but doesn't depict any practical solutions of Kashmir problem as well as any other socio-economic issues. Solutions of self reliance are totally unexplained. It is very unfortunate that the report doesn't mention about the losses incurred by the Govt. in hydroelectric and irrigation sector due to the Indus water treaty, they added. HSS leaders said that there is no mention of hydroelectric projects running in the state. Revenue and earnings generated from these projects should go to the state Government, they added. Ideas floated by the interlocutors regarding the formation of regional councils appears to be good but not feasible unless and until areas occupied by Pakistan not annexed with rest of Jammu & Kashmir. |
