Kranti Dal extends support to NDA sponsored Bharat bandh | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT JAMMU, May 28: Kranti Dal has decided to extend its full support to NDA sponsored Bharat bandh on May 31 against steep hike in prices of petrol. The decision was taken in a meeting of Kranti Dal at its city office under the chairmanship of its general secretary Pritam Sharma wherein among others Youth working president Jagdish Sudan and City President Rajinder Bhagat were also present. In the meeting all leaders Pritam Sharma said that in last 63 years, it is the highest hike in petrol price which has broken the backbone of common man and the present UPA Govt. is hell bent to snatch the food from the people's mouth by hiking the petroleum prices as the prices of daily needed commodities are directly related with petrol prices. Due to rise in petroleum prices, the freight will automatically increase thus increasing the cost of other items. Sharma added that the Government has given the petrol companies free hand to raise the petrol price. The prices of crude oil in international market are also decreasing then why the petrol companies are rising petrol prices. Kranti Dal asked the Union Government to roll back petrol prices immediately. |
