| Deputations call on CM | | | Jammu, January 30
A number of deputations from various parts of the state called on Chief Minister Mr. Ghulam Nabi Azad here today and presented to him their demands.
A deputation of unemployed physical education trained called on Chief Minister and apprised him of their demands.
Mayor Jammu Municipal Corporation Ch. Manmohan Singh was also present.
Another deputation of All J&K Home Guards Welfare Association called on Mr. Azad and presented their demands to him.
Inspector General of Police Home Guards and Civil Defence Mr. Naveen Aggarwal was also present.
A deputation from Drass comprising Executive Councillor LAHDC Kargil Haji Mohammad Ishaq and Vice President State Youth Congress Mr. Mohammad Yasin Lone called on Chief Minister and urged him for creation of tehsil at Drass, upgradation of girls middle school at Drass to high school level, speedy execution of Thasgam and Byrass mini-hydel projects, bringing the area on tourism map and promoting Drass as a skiing resort.
