| Assessment camps for impaired children organized | | | Rajouri | Jan 30
The assessment camps for impaired children (6-14) were held under the supervision of Chief Education officer at Sub Distt Hospital Nowshera. About 473 children were assessed by specialist doctors in ENT, orthopedics & visual category.
The camps were inaugurated by Chief Education Officer N Qazi in presence of Distt Youth Services & Sports Officer, ZEO Rajouri Mtr Hamshara Bi, Dr Abdul Salam Ortho Surgeon, Dr Vijay Gupta ENT Specialist & Dr Ghani sham Singh eye specialist of Distt Hospital Rajouri. Speaking on the occasion Qazi said that SSA with the co-operation of Medical department in making every effort to stream line education of impaired children by providing them assistive devices as recommended by Doctors. He also appreciated the role of SSA functionaries in making the camps successful.
