| Staff at CEO Rajouri goes on strike after masters assaulted SA | | | Early Times Report
Rajouri, May 30: The staff at office of Chief Education Officer (CEO) Rajouri today went on strike as a Senior Assistant posted at office following an assaulted by some masters over a petty issue. Sources said that some masters of this area yesterday evening entered the office complex of CEO Rajouri while some employees were doing emergency assignments.
The two sides got involved in a verbal duel which later took an ugly turn. "The three teachers identified as Shahbaz Khan @ Munni khan, Mohd Amin and Sajad Mirza associated with a teachers' association. Sources said they assaulted official identified as CEO office Senior Assistant, Harcharan Singh.
Today soon after the news reached to rest of staff at CEO Rajouri they went on strike demanding immediate arrest of guilty persons involved in assault. Meanwhile Chief Education Officer Rajouri, Makhan Lal Sharma, said that we have communicated the whole incident with DC & SP Rajouri and have also demanded police protection for office. He also said that department has taken cognizance in this regard and disciplinary action is certain against all who have been found accused of this act. |
