NSF concerned over G B Pant Cantt Hospital Jammu | | | Early Times Report Jammu, May 30: Varinder Jeet Singh, Chairman, National Sikh Front (NSF) J&K take a serious concern over the functioning of G B Pant Cantonment Hospital Jammu Cantt despite spending crores of rupees. While addressing a press conference, the NSF Chairman said that during a visit to said hospital the miserable condition of the hospital became apparent. "Hospital equipments purchased worth in crores from time to time in last so many years have never been utilized or put to any use by hospital staff, lying defunct, he said. "G B Pant Hospital Jammu Cantt established in 1989 as 35 bedded hospital failed to fulfill the aspirations of the people of the area, he said. However National Sikh Front (NSF) Jammu and Kashmir appreciated the action taken by Central Bureau of Investigations and conducting enquiry against the corrupt officials of the Defence Estates/Cantonment Boards in multi crore land scam of defence land in Srinagar Kashmir by issuing the NOC's for Defence land in favour of the land mafia. Among those who are present on the occasion included S Kulwant Singh Bhatti, President, National Sikh Front J&K, S Prem Singh Front Member Cantt Board Jammu, S Mahinder Singh, President Gurudwara Rani Talab Digiana, S Darshan Singh Prince and S Sukhdev Singh. |
