| Mir, Taj justify venue | | |
Meanwhile, while talking to newsmen, Minister for Agriculture Gulam Hassan Mir and Minister for PHE, Irrigation and Flood Control, Taj Mohiuddin ridiculed the claims of some people who have called the cabinet meeting at Tangdar as wastage of money.
Giving clarification on the issue, the ministers said that such extraordinary meetings help the government in reaching out to people and understanding their problems in a better way. "Reaching the doorsteps of the people enables us to understand problems and take effective decisions on the spot", said Taj Mohiuddin. "This is not wastage of money as it allows us to reach out to people. The expenditure is by no means huge, these statements are baseless", said the Agriculture minister. |
