IGNOU exams start today | | | early times report JAMMU, May 31: The term end examination of Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU), which commences from today, would conclude on June 28. The university has established 780 examination centres including 47 overseas centres and 53 centres in jails for jail inmates. Hall tickets (examination intimation slips) have been issued to 4,08,224 eligible candidates who had applied for appearing in the term end examination. The detailed hall ticket status is also available on IGNOU website www. ignou. ac. in. Under Jammu region, 36 Examination Centres have been established. The students may also download the Hall Tickets from the University website and appear in the examination. Students who have opted for Examination Centre under the Regional Centre, Jammu, are to contact the regional centre in case of any discrepancy. The examination centres have been instructed to allow students to appear in examination, even if they do not possess the Hall Ticket (Examination Intimation Slips), but their names exist in the list of examinees for that centre. Students are advised to be in possession of the Identity Cards issued by the University during the examinations and they should not carry mobile phones with them inside the examination hall. Separate Hall tickets shall be issued to the students of BCA and MCA for term-end practicals. Students who are supposed to appear in practicals in the examination centre under RC Jammu are advised to contact Regional Centre Jammu in the last week of December for their practical examinations. For BLISc. (Library Science) all Theory Examination Centres are not activated for conduct of Practical Examination. Students are advised to contact the Centre Superintendent and see the notice Board for Practical Examination Centre. |
