| Deepak nominated Distt President, Jammu Rural JKDF | | | Early Times Report
JAMMU, June 1: To expand Jammu Kashmir Democratic Front (JKDF) activities and workers network beyond urban areas, chairman JKDF Anil Gupta in consultation with core committee members today nominated Deepak Sharma ( Retd Astt Director Food & Supplies) as Distt President Jammu Rural consisting of five assembly constituencies viz Domana, Marh, Akhno or, Khour and Nagrota. This was announced in a joint press conference addressed by Core committee members Surinder Sharma, Murari Lal Balgotra, Ram Kumar, Krishan Lal, Prashant Puri, Ashok Gandhi and Distt President Arun Khanna.
While speaking to media Surinder Sharma said, since the launch of JKDF thousands of workers have joined and we have tried to project the demands of the people before the administration.
It was due to our efforts and voice raised against the interest charged by the Govt on electricity bills have been revoked/ waved off.
Expressing gratitude to Chairman and core committee members of JKDF, Deepak Sharma said he has been entrusted with big responsibility and we have collective goal of strengthening the party in state.
"I along with my team will strive hard to achieve this goal. JKDF is part of the people of the land and is unlike others who are mere puppets of the New Delhi and is strong alternative to other parties," Sharma said. |
