JAMMU, June 1: Jammu district rugby championship, organised by District Rugby Association, concluded at Green Field ground, here today. In this competition, teams from 10 educational institutions and five clubs took part in both boys and girls sections. The winners and runners-up teams were given away prizes by manager, Bua Ditta, who was accompanied by secretary and other office bearers of the Association.
Meanwhile, according to a handout issued by the Association, the selected probable in both boys and girls categories shall undergo a 15-day long coaching camp starting from June 10. The final selected teams shall be representing Jammu district in the forthcoming 6th State Rugby Sevens Championship slated to be held at Srinagar from June 29 to July two. |
