| Lalit Suri Polo tourney begins on June 7 | | | early times report
kargil, June 1: Likewise last year, the annual three-day Lalit Suri Polo Tournament shall take place at Kargil from June seven. This was decided in a meeting of the organizing committee held here today.
The meeting was chaired by Chief Executive Councilor LAHDC Kargil, Kacho Ahmad Ali Khan wherein discussions took place with regard to arrangements to be made for the successful conduction of the event. The meeting was attended besides others by SSP Kargil, Javed Iqbal Mattoo and Additional Deputy Commissioner, Kargil, Kacho Hassan Khan. It was informed during the meeting that this year a team from Manipur is also taking part in the competition. |
