| Power shut down | | | Early Times report
JAMMU, June 1 : In order to change the snapped conductor between tower location No. 36 and 37 of 132 KV/D/C Barn-Katra Transmission Line, power supply to the areas being fed from Katra Grid Station shall be affected on 2nd June, 2012 from 8 am to 2 pm. Besides, in order to replace the damaged B phase pole of 220 KV breakers of 220 MVA 22-/132/66 KV transformer of Hiranagar Grid Station, the shutdown of 220 KV Gladni Hiranagar and Sarna-Hiranagar transmission line at 220/132/66 KV, 320MVA Grid Station Hiranagar will be observed on June 02, 2012 from 0600 hours to 1000 hours.
During the shutdown, the power supply to Hiranagar, Dayalachak, Kathua, Billawar, Samba, Bishnah and part of Bari-Brahmana Industrial area shall remain affected. However, during this period Sewa Hydle-II shall be synchronized with Gladni Grid Station so that the generation of Sewa-II is not affected.
Similarly, to carry out the work of replacement of Jumpers, droppers and worn out clamps in 33 KV yard of 132/33 KV Grid Station Bari Brahmana, the power supply to the areas of Bari Brahmana, Industrial Area, Kartholi, Vijaypur, Jakh, Narbadha, Birpur Industrial Complex shall be affected on June 03 from 5 a m to 9 a m. |
