| Safai Karamcharis holds protest | | | Early Times Report
Poonch, June 2 : Large number of Safai Karma charis today kept off their duties and assembled at Municipal Office Poonch and staged protest. They were demanding immediate release of Executive Officer Municipal Council Poonch who was arrested as his vehicle hit a young boy killing him in Poonch two days back. The protesting safai karamcharis demanded that the action should be taken against the officer only after conducting proper inquiry into the incident. They also decided to visit the house of deceased child and offer condolences to the family. Meanwhile, huge dumps of garbage were seen at different parts of Poonch city leading to lot of inconvenience to the general public. The main bazaar of Poonch city was stinking since early morning. |
