Congress welcomes action against HR violators

JAMMU | JAN 30
The Legal and Human Rights department of Pradesh Congres Committee has welcomed the preliminary action of the state govt. against the officials allegedly guilty of a recent incident of Human Rights violation in Kashmir Valley.
In a meeting presided over by president K.K Pangotra, the action of Govt, was appreciated pending detailed enquiry and investigation into the incident. The meeting said that the persons indulging in Human persons Rights violations and fake encounters to earn promotions and medals should not be spared.
The meeting also noted satisfaction over the announcement of Chief Minister Ghulam Nabi Azad in the assembly, to encourage and stand solidly behind the genuine and brave security forces fighting militancy.
