Interlocutors seem 'confused', view J-K issue through K-leaders lens: JSM | 'Padgaonkar, Ms Kumar among favourite invitees of ISI agent Fai' | | Early Times Report JAMMU, June 2: Jammu State Morcha (JSM) today said, while making suggestions to tackle Kashmir problem and restore peace to the valley, interlocutors seemed confused and further alleged that they viewed the J&K problem through the lenses as provided to them by the Kashmiri leaders. "The report submitted by the interlocutors is against the sovereignty of the country and has been prepared with ulterior motives of making J&K as an independent country located in the geographical domain of Indian Union.," JSM leaders told a press conference here. "The interlocutors, particularly Dileep Padga onkar and Prof Radha Kumar had their own well conceived ideas about the J&K issue and were most favoured invitees to the anti-India and pro-Pakistan conferences and seminars organized by Washington-based Pak ISI agent Ghulam Nabi Fai, they asserted. They said, "Their report is mainly focused on the agendas of NC and PDP and reader can find most of the paragraphs copied and pasted from the documents of these parties." The report is completely biased in favour of Kashmir valley and valley-based political parties and ignored the Jammu and Ladakh as is obvious from the report that said: "We would like the government to ask constitutional experts to examine four documents prepared respectively by NC, PDP, ANC and Sajjad Lone." JSM leaders alleged that the documents submitted by JSM, JKNPP, BSP, state unit of BJP, Jammu Bar Association, Jammu Chamber of Commerce and other social and political groups of Jammu and Ladakh regions found no response in the report. They said that the suggestions of making hassle-free movement of people and goods across the LoC reducing LoC irrelevant, a mere line on a map; Jammu and Kashmir becoming an independent political unit, having joint institutions across LoC for development, resources generation and other common matters; are nice but impracticable, as it seems to fall into trap of Pakistan's game plan. It looks that the interlocutors were quite confused in suggesting the measures to diffuse the situation in the valley and bring back the normalcy there. Their diagnosis of the J&K problem, particularly of the valley does not match with the prescription suggested by them. "No positive suggestion had been made by them to end discrimination with Jammu and Ladakh, JSM leaders said. They evn failed to suggest remedial measures for providing the people of Jammu region their due share in the state services, development activities, allocation of funds both from the Centre and the state. In the end the JSM leaders reiterated that this was only possible by the trifurcation of Jammu and Kashmir state. Besides Prof Virender Gupta president JSM others who spoke on the occasion H B Khajuria, Nathu Ram Gupta, Chander Udey Sharma, Surjeet Singh Jamwal, Prof Divender Sharma and Yash Pal Gupta. |
