| PHC foundation stone laid in court complex | | | Early Times Report
JAMMU, June 2: The foundation stone of Primary Health Centre (PHC) was laid in the court complex at Janipura here today by acting Chief Justice of High Court, Justice Virender Singh along with Justices J P Singh and Mohammad Yaqoob Mir. The function, organised by Bar Association Jammu (BAJ), was also attended by Principal District Sessions Judge Jang Bahadur Singh and Director Health Services, Dr Madhu Khullar. Speaking on the occasion, BAJ president B S Slathia hoped that the PHC construction would be completed soon to make available health care facilities to lawyers, court staff and thousands of litigants visiting different courts daily. He thanked Health Minister Sham Lal Sharma for sanctioning funds for the construction of PHC in the court complex. He also extended his thanks to the judges for expediting the process of identifying land for the purpose. BAJ general secretary Vikram Sharma said PHC in the court complex was a long pending demand of lawyers.
Among others, the function was attended by BAJ office bearers including joint secretary Parimoksh Seth and treasurer Sandeepa Sambyal. |
