AIKS flays state centre for ignoring KPs problems | Interl'tors Report worth putting to bin, failed to feel KPs pain | |
EARLY TIMES REPORT JAMMU, Jun 2: Coming down heavily on criminal silence maintained by the State as well as the central governments on the burning problems of the Kashmiri Pandit Community Pt Moti Kaul, President All India Kashmiri Samaj(AIKS) said that inhuman attitude of the authorities who are at the helm of affairs has multiplied trauma and misery of displaced Kashmiri Pandits. Speaking on the occasion, he said that the relief holders who are on strike for last so many days are not for fun in this sweltering temperature but have been compelled to raise their voice for enhancement of cash relief and the authorities are turning deaf ear. He urged the government to show the will in responding to the problems being faced by the exiled community. Lambasting on the report of the Interlocutors Kaul said that it is worth putting to the dust bin as it failed to feel the very essence the pain of exiled community. "It seems that they were predetermined not to include a word of Kashmiri Pandits whose exile is a black dot in the modern history. How can a major human tragedy of modern history be ignored," he questioned? Referring to deplorable condition of temples and shrines, he said that we have repeatedly brought the attention of the government about illegal encroachments and the land gabbing by the vested interests in the past but unfortunately there has been no concrete step taken by the government.
