| PDP deputation calls on DC Kishtwar | | | Early Times Report
Kishtwar, June 3 : A deputation of People's Democratic Party led by senior leader and former District president Shakir Siddiqui met Deputy Commissioner Kishtwar. The deputation projected various demands of local people and also apprised deputy commissioner about the problems of people of far flung area of Marwah, Warwan. They alleged that the education zone Marwah is totallydefunct. The officer posted there undert the political patronage are not performing their duties punctually andtheir attitude towards general public is very har The deputation alsodemanded adequate staff for the schools of Marwah & warwan. They alsoalleged that the sub-standard material has been used in construction ofbuildings under SSA. They demanded probe in the constructions of all the buildings. Thedeputation also alleged that the drivers of the vehicles plying on Kishtwar warwanroute are charging exorbitantly and demanded that the fare be fixed. The deputy commissioner after giving a patient hearing to the deputation assured thatsteps will be taken for the fulfillment of the demands. Amongothers who accompanied Shakir Siddiqui include Mohd Abas Sarpanch, Lalajamal Naib Sarpanch, Mohd Shaban Khanday, Gh. Mustafa Wani, Ghulam Haider Lone, MohdRamzan, Abdul Rashid and Javed Iqbal Butt. |
