| INTUC deputation calls on Lal Singh, raises several demands | | | Early Times Report
JAMMU, June 3: A deputation of (INTUC) Indian National Trade Union Congress, NHPC Dul Hasti Kaishtwar led by B.N Jhan president INTUC Dul Hasti met with Member Parliament Choud hary Lal Singh and submitted a memorandum.The deputation demanded that all projects falling in District Kishtwar be started at an earliest so that local unemployed youth of the area be adjusted in these projects. They further said that DPR of Kwar, Kero, Pukal- Dul hydroelectric projects stands submitted and some funds have also been released besides that work on these projects is being delayed which has created unrest among the common masses. They also urged upon the Member Parliament that some local employees have been transferred to other projects by adopting pick and choose policy be brought back to DHP Kishtwar. The prominent others who were accompanied with the deputation include S Manhas president INTUC KKRS, Farooq Ahmed president Pukal, Ram Krishan working president DHP and Ab. Wahid Sr. Vice president DHP Kishtwar. |
